Northern Lights Health Foundation organizes a number of special events each year. We also rely on the generosity of many organizations and individuals who donate their time by initiating fundraising activities and special events in support of local health care.
If you would like to donate the proceeds of your event to the Foundation or organize a fundraiser in support of health care, download the proposal form here or contact our Development Officer-Annual Giving to request a fundraising event package with our guidelines. Before you publicize or hold your event please submit an event proposal to register your event with us. To issue tax receipts to participants in your event, you must have a signed agreement with the Foundation.

NAPA - Fort McMurray "NAPA Reaches High for the Northern Lights"
Our local NAPA store has chosen the Northern Lights Health Foundation as their charity of choice this year. This initiative was kicked off on April 12th at the local NAPA store. The goal is to raise $50,000 for health care equipment in our community. If you would like to contribute to this fundraiser please call us at 780-791-6108.

Past Third Party Fundraisers
TELUS Optik TV Campaign
TELUS donated $175,000 to the Northern Lights Health Foundation through the Telus Optik TV campaign. The donation will be used to purchase new video and trans-nasal gastroscopes as well help to fund a pulmonary function test system used to diagnose asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
Henna Week
Three sisters from Westwood Community High School raised $270.75 for the Northern Lights Health Foundation by hosting a "Henna Week" at Westwood Community High School from April 25 - April 29, 2011.
Telus Annual Toy Drive
In 2010 Telus is embarked on a new Christmas adventure, the Telus Critters Care Christmas Campaign, which supported the Pediatrics Department of the Northern Lights Regional Health Centre. Telus employees and their families, along with huge support from Mix 103.7 and our community made an amazing donation of toys to Pediatrics.

WestJet - 2010 Toy Drive
West Jetter’s joined together to bring smiles to those faces that inspire us the most – our community’s kids. The local Fort McMurray West Jet Team was busy working with Santa and his elves this past December to collect goodies for the Pediatrics unit at the Northern Lights Regional Health Centre. We truly appreciate your thoughtfulness.
